Summerfield Performance

Our first performance at Summerfield Old Folks Home. We performed a Tahitian aparima called 'Te Mahana' by my favorite singers Tia and Dallin Muti. Me, Jessica, Ka'ahu and Lina!!

The keiki's, Kayla and Joseph also performed the Hukilau with us.
Everyone loved the performance, we even had an audience participation and there was nothing old about those folks!!!!

Tusitala Polynesian Dance Group - Utah

Aloha!

My name is Siona Tejada and I have been involved with Polynesian dancing since I was 7 years old. My passion for dance exploded when I ventured to BYU Hawaii and began to work at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie. I worked at the Evening show for over 4 years where I was able to learn many dances from the islands of Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, Hawaii, Tahiti and New Zealand. My love for polynesian dancing continues to grow as I now reside in Orem, Utah. I now want to share my passion for dance with others as I teach both adults and children dances from all the islands. I also do birthday parties as well where I teach children or adults a dance and have them perform it for all their family and friends. We are always looking for new participants so contact me if you are interested. The only criteria I have is a willingness to learn and to have fun! I look forward to hearing from you.
